Food was in fact just ok. Crabs was definitely good and corn was my favorite part. . Service was bad like the other reviews say. $300 bill and we wish we went somewhere else

Wanted some seafood for our quick weekend getaway first night. This spot had Great reviews plus Maryland is famous for, we all know. The Seafood! We were highly disappointed 😞. Turns out they only stem no seasoning besides crab seasonings. We still purchased it since it was our first time visiting. You be the judge but boring... My girl even brought hush puppies that tasted like dry donuts. Not worth the price🤷

Update: Visited again 7/7/24 at 8:10pm. No wait to be seated. Pleasant staff. One of us got a bowl of New England Clam Chowder ($10) and said it was delicious. One of us got the mozzarella sticks ($11). They were good. The rest of us ordered the fried shrimp platter ($33.89), 1 Crab Cake platter ($30.79), and the Crab Imperial ($42.29.) Add in the drinks and tip and this meal was over $200. The meals were delicious, but we all think they were definitely overpriced. Food is excellent, but be ready for the price-shock.
Original review: Arrived about quarter of 6pm, 8/4/22. No wait to be seated. Wait staff were professional and pleasant. We ordered a pitcher of their virgin strawberry daiquiri. Really yummy! We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell which had side dipping options of cocktail sauce, lemons, and horseradish. They were perfect! My daughter enjoyed the mozzarella cheese sticks for her dinner. We both ordered the Alaskan snow crab leg special. It comes with two sides of which I ordered the salad and baked potato. Crab legs were sweet and succulent! You have to work for the meat when you get to the tinier parts of the legs, but SO worth it. This is my third time at this Higgins Crab House and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Definitely recommend!
