I highly recommend! Both captain Dan and first mate Dave did a great job getting us on fish and managing gear! We had a great day on the water with friends on a deep dropping trip, changed dates to hit the best weather, (yes, the captain knows the weather better than you).For the negative reviews, remember one thing: Respect goes both ways, respect the Captian and crew and you will have a great day! Anyone that does any fishing will see the wisdom in the crew cleaning up any mess as soon as it is made, this is the only way to keep a clean vessel!

Captain Dan runs a first class operation. His ability to make sure you have an experience not just to catch fish surpasses all. He always has the best mates. Big Mike was a blast, felt like he should have been going home with us as part of the family. Captain Dan is always prepare to fish for whatever the bite is. We had a great time catching sea bass with Dan and Joey on the Fin Chaser! Their experience, versatility, and professionalism kept us on fish the whole time. I have been looking forward to catching some of the best tasting fish in the ocean for a long time and the Fin Chaser delivered big time. They are very clear about what is expected, how to stay safe, and how to be successful in catching fish.
