Crabs To Go is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in West Ocean City. We have earned a reputation of selling the tastiest crabs in all of Maryland. Our crabs are superior to others because we use Choptank River crabs and steam them to order. The Choptank River is located in Cambridge, MD and produces the heaviest, fattest and sweetest crabs on the Shore.
Crabs To Go is owned and operated by John and Mark Wittmyer and Dan Parker. Dan is a native of the Shore and has been in the crab business for over 20 years. Crabs To Go offers a full menu including steamed shrimp, steamed clams, homemade crabcakes and many other seafood selections.

Had shrimp basket and a pound of steamed shrimp. Loved the fried shrimp. Very light batter with great cocktail sauce, just enough bite. The steamed shrimp were lightly seasoned. Too many places in this area REALLY believe Old Bay is the end all. The hush puppies were different than we have down South, but we liked them too. A bit expensive but reasonable. I'll be back.

We had a clam strip basket and the crab balls. The clam strips themselves were good - nice flavor, texture, and fry. The accompanying fries were basic but perfectly fine. The crab balls were a major disappointment. The flavor was okay but somewhat bland, but the texture was so inconsistent - some firm, some gooey, none very good.

We had the best, heaviest crabs ,perfectly seasoned at Crabs to Go. It has been a long time since we had crabs that were all large and heavy. Their corn is roasted with the crabs and you will not be disappointed. The menu is extensive and the service was friendly. They have several areas outside for enjoying your order there or you can carry out. Crabs to Go is our new favorite place.
